The iPhone has since this summer had access to Office 365, and now it seems that Microsoft is ready with an iPad-adapted version.
Since Apple introduced the first iPad in 2010 at the same time, they had adapted their iWork application package for the large touch screen. The following year was both Pages, Numbers and Keynote tailored specifically for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Microsoft has not shown a similar interest in Apple’s iOS devices to their Office application package. In the summer of last year, however, we finally got an iPhone tailored Office 365 app, and now it is reported that the trip finally has come to the iPad. It writes TheVerge.
According to sources, then comes the iPad version to follow the appearance and functionality of the current iPhone-adapted version. The upcoming app, therefore, will also require a subscription to Office 365, as we know it from the iPhone.
There has not yet issued an official invitation from Microsoft, but it suggests that the event will be the first for Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s new CEO and held d. 27. March. Of course we are following up on the matter here on the mobile site.
